Zusammenfassung

Documents the significant groundwork Jim Cummins has done to improve multilingual learners' education and paves the path forward for social justice in education

Jim Cummins is a globally renowned researcher, educator and advocate, who has spent 50 years championing social justice through transformative pedagogy and the recognition of teachers as knowledge generators and transformative agents. This book reflects on the extraordinary contributions Cummins has made to the theory and pedagogy of multilingual learning, through cutting-edge research-based chapters inspired by his scholarship as well as personal testimonials recognizing the impact his work has had on his students and collaborators.
