Jay Heigh has had enough with life. His parents were murdered by a local barfly that always harassed him begging for money for beer and cigarettes and spewing stories about violence and exploits, and his girlfriend doesn't have time for him due to her part-time job. But when the barfly gets beaten by thugs and Jay couldn't help him, the barfly, Ray-man, becomes a local serial killer, terrorizing the town. When Jay throws himself off a freeway overpass, a Freeway Reaper, a Death-Angel working for God and is assigned to take lost souls to either Heaven or Hell, is too late. Using her magic to make things right, she accidentally swaps the souls of the bodies of the people involved, leading to a transfer of Jay's soul into the body of the serial killer Ray-man, and Ray-man's soul into the body of an innocent little boy. Mayhem erupts, the town is on high alert, and it's up to the Freeway Reaper, the Death-Angel Devilosa, to come to the rescue in an epic showdown of good versus evil!
