Zusammenfassung

Wounded by years of abuse, betrayal, and distorted beliefs about herself and God, Selah has learned how to appear strong while quietly carrying the pain of a life shaped by fear, confusion, and lies. A single mother in her late forties, Selah longs to understand what is true. Scripture was once twisted and used against her, leaving her questioning the God she desperately wants to trust. How much of what she was taught truly came from Him? What does God actually say about her? And after everything she has endured, can the wounds of her past ever truly heal? In the midst of her desperate search for answers, Selah is drawn to a mysterious house-one designed especially for her and built by Christ Himself. Inside, Jesus leads her through room after room, revealing truths hidden within the details of the house. Each doorway brings Selah face-to-face with another part of her story and another opportunity to exchange the lies she has believed for the truth of God's Word. As Jesus gently reveals His design for her life, Selah begins to see herself differently: not through the words of those who wounded her, but through the eyes of the One who created her. Yet healing requires more than discovering what is hidden within the house. Selah must decide whether she is willing to trust the truths Jesus reveals and allow them to reshape the beliefs that have defined her for so long. Inspired by real-life experiences, The House of Many Truths is a moving Christian allegory about trauma, faith, identity, and the restorative love of God. Through Selah's journey, readers who have struggled beneath the weight of painful experiences, spiritual confusion, or damaging words will encounter a powerful reminder that their past does not determine their identity. There is truth beyond the lies. There is hope beyond the pain. And there is a loving Savior who knows every hidden wound-and who lovingly leads His children toward freedom, purpose, and healing.

Rebecca Gruber combines her faith, love of books, and passion for interior design to create stories that inspire hope and a deeper understanding of God's love. She and her husband live in Central Pennsylvania and are blessed with five daughters, three sons, two spiritual daughters, and twenty-two grandchildren. Rebecca enjoys studying the Bible, gardening with herbs, and spending time with family and friends.
