Zusammenfassung

At the crossroads of genres, blending numerous graphic and scriptwriting influences, this sci-fi adventure by animation director Joël Dos Reis Viegas paints a picture of a society on the verge of implosion, haunted by death, structured by fear, indoctrination, and the deprivation of the most fundamental freedom: the freedom to love who you choose. In far-future Neopolis, a virus has affected the entire population from birth. All sexual relations between genders are strictly forbidden, as they are absolutely fatal. Raised to hate the opposite sex, boys and girls live in a city separated by a wall. But the appearance of N-Dorphin, a revolutionary drug, disrupts the status quo. Kenzell and Lesya, two dissidents of opposite sexes, find themselves embroiled in a merciless clan war and will have to face a reality beyond their control . . .

Joël Dos Reis Viegas is a French Canadian animation director, concept artist, and comic book creator born in Montreal, Quebec. A graduate of the prestigious Gobelins school in Paris, he has built a dynamic career across animation, video games, and visual storytelling. His credits include work on Black Dynamite, Batman: Arkham Origins, Godzilla, and Thief, showcasing his versatility and flair for stylized, high-energy visuals. In 2006, he cofounded Steambot Studios, a creative agency specializing in concept development for entertainment media. His original series Urbance?a bold, genre-blending project exploring youth, identity, and urban culture?was launched through a successful Kickstarter campaign and has since gained international recognition. Viegas continues to push artistic boundaries as both a director and visual innovator.
