Matthew 16:26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? How much is your soul worth? Wow! We don't know about you but our soul belongs to Jesus. We returned it to Him in salvation, the encounter that happened to me back in the fall of 1998. One more soul given to Jesus when we had no idea what God had planned for this particular soul of His, one Susan J Perry. He has had us writing first poetry, trained and later equipped to be a writer of God's truths as He gives them to us. (He, we, us not me or I because the Holy Spirit & I are writing (2) What would have happened had we stayed in the world and discarded this soul that was so precious to Jesus and those to come? We would've still been lost or perhaps dead in the grave with the gold buried deep in the ground, never found (Matthew 25:25) ; the same as the one that buried the one talent in the ground in scripture, useless to his master. The devil's plan did not work but God's plan has superseded above all other plans and we are so glad. Let's take stock in our souls because we are a created being by God our Father, Himself, molded and made brand new, born of our parents here on earth. We are hand-fashioned after God's own image: How much are our little ole souls worth? This new month of July 2026 we are expecting to find the gold God wants us to find. It may be buried deep, but don't give up. It's there purposely for us to find. Keep your soul in God's perfect hands.
