Michael D. Wynne is a distinguished Louisiana historian and author, who has devoted more than 50 years to researching and preserving the region's rich cultural heritage. Over the course of his career, he has published 50 books spanning local history, biography, and regional studies, earning a respected place among the state's foremost chroniclers of the past. His first work with Pelican Publishing, Haunted Central Louisiana, was released in 2025, expanding his exploration into local folklore and supernatural history. A lifelong advocate for the written word, Michael currently serves as president of the Cenla Authors Club, mentoring emerging writers and fostering a deeper appreciation for the Pelican State's literary and historical traditions. He remains deeply committed to documenting and preserving stories that shape the region's identity. He currently resides in Alexandria.

Nicole Beauchamp is a world-renowned paranormal researcher and multi-published author from Bay City,

Michigan. With a lifelong passion for the paranormal and history, Nicole founded the Tri-City Ghost Hunters Society in 2009, after her very first visit to New Orleans. Since forming the group, she has investigated all over the world. Her writing and paranormal journey have been featured in many national and international publications, including CNN in the United States, That's Life magazine, published in Australia and New Zealand; the Belfast Telegraph, the leading newspaper in Northern Ireland; and Sunday World, the second-largest-selling tabloid-style newspaper in the Republic of Ireland. In 2015, she moved to the Gulf Coast and spent almost four years heavily researching the history and paranormal phenomena of her favorite city, New Orleans. That same year, she wrote a guest editorial for TAPS Paramagazine and was featured on Beyond Reality Radio, where she was recognized for her hard work and dedication to the paranormal by Jason Hawes, the star of the popular television shows Ghost Nation and Ghost Hunters. In 2018, Nicole had to move back to Michigan but garnered the nickname "the local who is not a local" from New Orleanians for the sheer amount of time she has spent and continues to spend in the

Crescent City. Nicole received a tribute from the State of Michigan for her debut book, Haunted Bay City, Michigan (2020), and was invited to appear as a featured author and panelist at the Louisiana Book Festival for her fourth release, Haunted French Quarter Hotels (2025). Her other works include Haunted Detroit (2022), Haunted Bars & Pubs of Michigan (2023), and Haunted Mid-Michigan (2026).
