When Cat Caterpillar is chosen as her class's All Star, she is determined to make everyone happy. She fixes scooters, pushes her friends on the swings, and offers to carry far too many pumpkins-but she becomes so busy helping that she never takes a turn of her own. After Cat's overloaded pile of pumpkins comes tumbling down, she finds the courage to say what she truly needs. With support from her friends and a surprise snowfall, Cat discovers that real helpfulness includes accepting assistance, expressing her feelings, and making room for herself.
