In the world of The Dragon Nimbus, this third volume takes the three O'Hara brothers, and their long lost sister (who doesn't think of herself as an O'Hara anymore) through the intricate worlds of dragon politics, corporate politics, and family grudges.

Mark Kimmer (Kim), Martin Konner (Konner), and Mathew Kameron (Loki) O'Hara have been space-faring smugglers and pirates almost all of their lives. On the run, as usual, from the Imperial Military Police (IMPs) they fly through a rogue jump point and land on a lost Earth colony planet where dragons are real and magic works. They use their technology and new-found psi powers to free some slaves and cure a plague.

Then they have to live up to it.

They have accomplished a lifetime goal in finding their long lost sister but face many challenges in bonding with her. She does not want to be part of her birth family of outlaws. But military discipline among her crew breaks down as her captain succumbs to the lure of power from the bloodthirsty dragon spirit of Hanassa.

The brothers must repair their ship, their family, and the primitive society they have vowed to protect. And there are still appointments back in civilization demanding their attendance. Do they truly want to go home? Only if the dragons allow it, they reinvent fuel sources, and break their hearts leaving behind all those they have come to love.

The dragons aren't much help. They will never lie, but they don't give straight answers either.
