Route 66 doesn't just lead somewhere. It remembers.
Marco and Guy Dubois are living out a dream: crossing America on Harleys, from one end of Route 66 to the other.
But from the very first miles, something is wrong.
A noise in the headphones. A recurring frequency, for no reason. And a name, barely audible: Joy.
At first harmless, the phenomena become impossible to ignore. Under the viaducts, the sound changes. In the desert, the radio picks up voices that don't exist. And on some nights, the road seems to breathe.
In Oatman, in the heart of a hotel steeped in history, the line between reality and memory begins to crack.
What they're hearing isn't a glitch. It isn't an illusion.
It's a trace.
And it's been waiting for them.
