Malaika Kegode is a writer, performer, mentor, theatre-maker and creative producer.

Her plays include Badgers (Bristol Old Vic & Edinburgh Fringe, 2026).

She was an Associate Artist at Bristol Old Vic 2021-24, part of English Touring Theatre's Nationwide Voices 2023 cohort and writer-in-residence at the University of Bristol's Theatre Collection in 2022 as a recipient of the Kevin Elyot Award. She was on the creative leadership team at Theatre Royal Plymouth as an Associate Director from 2023 to 2025.

As a performance poet, she has performed at venues, festivals, and literary events across the UK. She is the founder, artistic director, and host of Milk Poetry, one of Bristol's longest-running spoken word organisations.

She also writes for music, radio and screen, produces events, and facilitates workshops.

Her radio drama, Tribe of Two (produced by Afonica for BBC Radio 4), was shortlisted for the Imison Award by the Society of Authors.
