Rick Skwiot is the critically acclaimed author of six novels and two memoirs. His debut book, Death in Mexico, won Florida's Hemingway First Novel Award. His second, Sleeping With Pancho Villa, was a finalist for the Willa Cather Fiction Prize. A former newspaper reporter and book reviewer, Skwiot is a St. Louis native and longtime Key West resident.
