Tinamarie Cox is a poet and artist living in Arizona with her husband, two children, and rescue felines. She has two chapbooks with Bottlecap Press: Self-Destruction in Small Doses (2023) and A Collection of Morning Hours (2024). Her first full-length poetry collection, Through a Sea Laced with Midnight Hues, was released with Nymeria Publishing in 2025, and her second collection, A Numbers Game, in 2026. Many of her poems revolve around mental health topics and understanding human emotion. Tinamarie considers writing poetry a form of therapy, and its cathartic value is essential to her personal mental health journey. She shares her battles with anxiety, depression, and c-ptsd through her writing to bring hope to others who are also struggling, as well as understanding to those who are curious.
