Back in the real world, Jay notices subtle changes in his behavior and decision-making. He initially sees these shifts as personal growth but slowly uncovers the truth: a mysterious Entity is manipulating him, rewriting his psychological code to make him dependent on the Mind-Space. His growing suspicion is confirmed when he meets Alejandro, a fellow traveler further down the path of addiction. Alejandro's descent from eager explorer to terrified survivor serves as a dark warning, motivating Jay to find a way to escape the Entity's grip before his mind is no longer his own.
