I have been a follower of Jesus of Nazareth my whole life of 69 years but by the time I was seventeen I was non-denominational. His words and Teachings always resonated with me since I was young about Love and Non-violence and another Heavenly Spiritual world beyond all suffering and death. I had a natural interest in all Spiritual religions and practices from when I was a teenager and saw many similarities throughout the world's religions and spiritual practices along with stark differences. But only the ones that taught about love and Non-violence were of any real interest to me. The main two I studied were Jesus and Buddha. Both of these great Spiritual Teachers had an Spiritual awakening experience of the oneness with Love or the 'Clear Light Mind' as Buddhists may call it. Jesus talked about it by saying your mind or eye must become single, then you will be filled with Light. I incorporate their Teachings of Love and non-violence in my daily life and increase my Spiritual awakening by doing so. We all need to do this and I am happy to contribute in any small way to help share the Truth of Spiritual awakening by writing about the beautiful and profound Spiritual Teachings of Jesus.
