John Mariotti is an Internationally recognized executive, author/speaker, and board member. He was formerly a V.P of L. R. Nelson; President of Huffy Bicycles; Group President of Rubbermaid Office Products; and Chairman of World Kitchen, LLC (Corelle/Pyrex/CorningWare, et. al.).After a successful 30-year career as an executive, John founded The Enterprise Group, a coalition of shared-time executive advisors in 1994, and since then he served on multiple corporate boards, among them, World Kitchen LLC, Doskocil (Petmate), HomeCare, Manco, Amrep, Levick Strategic Communications, and Acorn Products (Union Tools). John has addressed audiences at many universities including The Ohio State University, University of Tennessee (where he was Director of Corporate Relations in 1995), Georgia Tech, TCU, U. of Dayton, RPI, U. of Akron, and others. He has been advisor, consultant or featured speaker to many well-known companies including Titleist, Scotts, Emerson, Dirt-Devil, CharBroil, Deere, Hill's Pet Nutrition, TVA, Southern Company/Alabama Power, and many others. He is former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Goodwill Industries of Dayton, OH and Chairman of The Productivity Communications Center. He has addressed many organizations & conferences in the US and Europe. John has written extensively, notably for Forbes.com, Fortune Small Business.com, IndustryWeek (as Moderator of America's Best Plants Conferences), the American Management Association (MWorld.com), Management Centre Europe, SmallBizTrends.com, American Express Open Forum, and countless other publications & web/news sites. His 12 business/professional books & a novel include award-winners, The Shape Shifters (1997) and The Complexity Crisis (2008), His more recent books are Roadmap to Profitable Growth, and Rocketships & Parachutes. John founded & hosted The Reunion Conference, an annual roundtable/think tank for 16 years, and for 22 years he published a bi-weekly email newsletter THE ENTERPRISE. He is a member of The Ohio State University Earle Bruce Quarterback Club & Columbus (OH) Rotary Club, where he takes an active role in the community helping the youth of greater Columbus.
