Dumped for being 'too boring' and fired in the same week, Londoner Sophie Bennet decides she's done playing it safe. After one too many glasses of wine, she launches a crowdfunding campaign called "Help a Boring Girl Buy a Bookshop." When it unexpectedly goes viral, she trades city chaos for cherry-blossom season in Solace Springs, Washington, buying a rundown boathouse bookshop and a chance to start over.

Luke has spent years cultivating a quiet life by the lake, and the last thing he needs is an annoyingly attractive social media sensation disturbing his peace with her endless enthusiasm.
