His grandparents and uncle were also very present in his life, because his mom is a single parent, she's very busy working full-time and going to nursing school. When J.T. Jammer was younger, he enjoyed playing basketball at the city park with his siblings and friends. Although he lives in a big city, the people in his community built a strong connection to each other. As he got older, he started noticing some changes in his community. The city park wasn't a safe place for children anymore, leaving them nowhere to play outdoors and the community felt disconnected.
