The NB Journals that Kierkegaard kept from September 1850 to June 1852 contain autobiographical jottings, reflections on philosophy and theology, and commentaries on both his own works and works by others (from Tertullian and Pascal to contemporary women's rights activist Mathilde Fibiger). The journals repeatedly raise the question of the relationship between humanist education and radical Christianity - and the role of Kierkegaard the writer.
