In Part One, after the defeat of the Worldwide Affiliates of Safari Partners (W.A.S.P.) at the hands of Le Gang de la Clé de Singe (the Monkey Wrench Gang) on the island of Kanacea, it had been agreed that if W.A.S.P. lost, they would agree that their members would stop big game trophy hunting of elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and African buffalos. However, it became evident that they had no intention of honoring their word. Therefore, it fell upon the Monkey Wrench Gang's elite warriors, Rodin, Iceman, Isala, Sue B, and Fu Hao, to take up arms and do battle with the forces of evil. The renowned warrior Rodin, along with his team, embarks on a series of battles, from Lunugamvehera National Park, Sri Lanka, to the seaport of Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Pakistan, to the cosmopolitan streets of Milan, and beyond. Yet, as the saying goes, all warriors must eventually lay their swords down. Recognizing this, Rodin and his partner, Isala, make the decision to pass on the mantle of leadership, bidding farewell to Le Gang de la Clé de Singe. They join their long-time friend Buzz Murdock and his wife on the island of Kanacea, marking a new chapter in their lives.
In Part Two, "The Diary of an Eco-Warrior," the Iceman tells of his adventures leading a team of fighters against poachers, big game hunters, and warlords who trade upon the carcasses of their country's natural resources for their own enrichment. From the jungles of the Congo, Xonghile Game Park, Mozambique, to Abidjan, a city on the southern Atlantic coast of Côte d'Ivoire, in West Africa, the Iceman is captured and tortured. Knowing that he will continue to be tortured, he resolves to have his comrades perform the ultimate sacrifice.
