By the Fire: Tales from the Ashes is a collection of 31 short stories that reflect the fire. Starting

from humble sparks, these stories quickly ignite into flames of narrative flow. It peaks with a

blaze, then begins to die down; first becoming embers, then ashes. Each story has been written

and edited by Algonquin College's Professional Writing students of 2024 and reflects their

growing skills with the pen.
