Dr. Bergman is a multi-award winning teacher and author. He has taught biology, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, genetics, and other courses for over 40 years at the University of Toledo, The Medical College of Ohio, and other colleges and universities. His nine degrees include a Doctorate from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and a Masters in biochemistry from the Medical College of Ohio.
His over 1,700 publications are in both scholarly and popular science journals and monographs. Dr. Bergman's work has been translated into 13 languages. His books, and books that include chapters that he authored, are in over 2,400 college libraries in 65 countries. So far over 80,000 copies of the 60 books and monographs that he has authored or co-authored are in print. Dr. Bergman has spoken over 2,000 times to college, university, and church groups in America, Canada, Europe, the South Sea Islands, and Africa.
