Two mob enforcers from the Barzetti crime family, Michel Santoro, and Salvatore Carducci, who have a long-standing dislike for one another, have a serious physical disagreement while working together on an assignment.
Michel is ordered to pay restitution to Salvatore but instead, sets his mobster colleague up to take the fall for a diamond heist. By doing so, Michel leaves the life of crime and moves his family to another state. However, after serving time in prison, Salvatore seeks revenge and is given the 'Go-Ahead' by the Barzetti crime family to eliminate Michel Santoro and his entire family.
Michel's only son, Giovanni, who had denounced his father's method of earning money, lives his life devoted to God and living a life ministering to young people. He is thrust into a family vendetta that he must be a part of, leading him into a life that will destroy his lifelong relationship with his friend, Dante Carducci, son of Salvatore Carducci.
This story demonstrates the power of family loyalty and living by a code preserved by the mafioso.
