Fortress:
1. A well-protected place, which is intended to be difficult for enemies to enter
2. A place of refuge or support
3. A person or thing not susceptible to outside influence or disturbance
Each author in this anthology was given a single word 'fortress' and asked to write a story around it. Take it in any direction you want, but run with it. And run they did. This diverse group of award-winning authors varies as much as their exploration of the word given to them. From the whimsical to the macabre, provocative to melancholy, we proudly present our fourth collection.
So, curl up in your favorite chair and enjoy an evening of literary wine-tasting and savor a sampling of tales from our publishing house.
