Quinn just turned eighteen. Though she thought that maybe her mom would loosen up a little now that she was an adult, it seems the opposite is true. Some strange things were happening too. Quinn accidently experiences something confusing out on a hike with her best friend, Molly. She also recieves a letter from a dad she knew nothing about. And why did he keep referring to "people like us" and "soul mates" in his letter? Quinn has no choice but to confront her mom for some answers, but the story her mom shares of how she and Quinn's father met creates more questions than answers.
