This famous explanation of the Quran is the work of the outstanding Islamic judge of the past Jalalu-Din Al Mahalli which was completed by his student Jalalu-Din As-Sayuti. Hence the term Jalaalayn, meaning the "two Jalals".

It is an authentic and beautiful explanation of the Quran. Tafseer al-Jalaalayn is generally regarded as one of the most easily accessible works of Qur'anic interpretation and explanation due to its simple style and one-volume length.
