Forum for Integrated National Security (FINS) was founded in 2003. FINS is an independent, non- partisan Think Tank devoted to the concept of Integrated National Security. FINS comprises of Defence veterans, academicians, former diplomats and administrative service offices. FINS believes that while dealing with the national security the process of integrated approach and culture of strategic thinking needs to be developed. With this objective in mind FINS has decided to adopt three pronged strategy of Initiate-Interact-Influence. FINS have gained recognition as Think Tank of eminence in the field of national security. FINS has conducted research and published reports on subjects related to national security, to name a few, Maritime security, Indo Pacific Region, Naxalism and Urban Maoism, Nuclear Doctrine, Small Island Development and Security, Self Reliance in Defense Manufacturing, Power of Soft Power, Space Governance etc. The papers published by FINS have been extensively used by members of Parliament of all parties and Govt. took note of the concepts given in Publications.
