Mona Island has hosted a long human history. Indigenous Tainos, colonial Spanish, bloodthirsty pirates, and industrious guano miners have all wandered its beaches. Today, Josh Fulton steps onto this deserted Caribbean island to track down his long absent father. While trying to cobble together a relationship missing for twenty years, Josh joins forces with a local diver to uncover murders, a missing U-Boat, and a missing lighthouse keeper dating back to World War II.

Soon Josh is battling against unlikely thieves looking to steal a lost treasure of gold and leave more bodies on the island.
