This book aims to provide the reader an overview and a comprehensive introduction to the basic concepts and experimental techniques in magnetism, focused on magnetic nanoparticles and fabrication techniques. It will cover: magnetism, magnetic nanoparticles, electronic paramagnetic and ferromagnetic resonance, and spintronics. These main topics will discuss the fundamentals, including the mathematical formalism or the phenomenological approach in each case, to provide the reader with the tools to identify the applicability of the concepts and phenomena discussed through the manuscript on different magnetic systems. The book will be complemented with an introduction to the basics of magnetism and one additional chapter of Experimental Techniques in Magnetism which will be focused on the different experimental techniques used to detect magnetic fields and magnetic moments in nanometric sized and bulk magnetic systems.
Key Features:
- Provides an introductory chapter with the basics of magnetism
