This book discusses and provides in-depth detail into the civil commitment scheme in Kansas known as the Kansas Sexually Violent Predator Act. The journey through the book covers a review of the applicable law, how the facility operates, and goes into the conditions of confinement utilized under the KSVPA. This book is intended to be a tell-all revealing book from one inside the facility under the KSVPA that has been there for over twenty years. The hope is to garner attention and reform as necessary to make it a viable program that does not waste taxpayer dollars.
