The study of the socio-economic and environmental effects of VECO's Cassava Sector Development Support Project on the agricultural sector in Djidja aims to understand the low productivity of this sector despite the many projects that have been implemented. To carry out our study, we used several methods such as documentation, sampling, fieldwork, data processing and analysis. From the analysis of the field results, it appears that the VECO cassava sector development support project contributed to the improvement of cultivation practices, the income of the beneficiaries and the increase in agricultural yields during its implementation period without too much damage to the preservation of natural resources. However, seven years after the end of the project, the many achievements recorded during the implementation phase of the project are fading alarmingly in the beneficiary localities.
