In addition to having the "storytelling gene," which is unique to people raised in the south, Marcia has many years of experience teaching the Bible, fourteen of which was as a teaching leader for Bible Study Fellowship, International.
As a daughter, sister, mother, wife, grandmother, and friend, Marcia has enjoyed many aspects of life and draws upon her personal experiences as she lovingly and respectfully teaches the Bible, relating its principles to life application.
Marcia grew up in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. She met and married Brian at Judson College in Elgin, Illinois. Brian's various work assignments moved them to Ohio, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Missouri, and back to Illinois before recently moving to Texas.
Marcia and Brian have two sons: Dan (who lives in England with his wife, Nikki, and their three children, Jacob, Matthew, and Stella) and Bob (who lives in Texas with his wife, Jen, and their son, Cal).
