Meredith Heller is a poet and singer/songwriter with graduate degrees in writing and education. A California Poet in the Schools, she teaches poetry & creative writing, coaches private voice & songwriting, leads Moontribe 'Write of Passage' Nature Program for teen girls, and hosts Siren Song, a women's singer/songwriter night. Her poetry has been published in Rebelle Society, We'Moon, Quiet Lightning, The Aquarian, Avocet, and in Women, Their Names, & The Stories They Tell. Her essays appear in Common Ground and Tiny House Magazines. A nature-girl who spent fifteen summers solo backpacking, she hikes the trails daily and lives in a tiny cottage made from a train caboose in Marin County, California. She is mused by nature, synchronicity, and kindred souls.
