An American teenager living in Saudi Arabia gets to learn all about the religion and culture of Islam, including wearing an abaya-a special robe-and a shayla-a headscarf. When she visits the Buraydah, an area of Saudi Arabia not open to outsiders, she gains a new perspective and learns what is important to her in a different culture.
