Paul Hoover is a widely acclaimed poet, translator, and editor. He is the author of numerous books, most recently Edge and Fold: Poems (Apogee, 2006) and Fables of Representation: Essays (University of Michigan Press, 2004). He is the editor of the Norton Anthology of Postmodern American Poetry (2004), and the co-publisher, with his wife Maxine Chernoff, of New American Writing. He lives in California and teaches at San Francisco State University.
Nguyen Do is a poet, journalist, and translator. Born and raised in Hanoi, he is among his nation's leading writers. He now divides his time between Vietnam and San Francisco.
