Ines is a nine-year-old girl who spends the afternoons with her neighbor Lupe, an elderly woman with a vivid imagination. Lupe asks Ines to write letters to son Lucas, however, reality and fantasy seem to blend in Lupe's mind, as if some mice were gnawing at her memories.
